"We would like to thank all fans who have sent in messages and prayers," said Anthony Calvillo, speaking on behalf of his entire family. "We remain optimistic and want to thank everyone for their respect."
In the 2007 season, Calvillo has amassed 3,608 passing yards and 17 touchdowns while throwing eight interceptions.
