07/30/2010 - Montreal, QC (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - The Montreal Canadiens signed defenseman Alex Henry to a two-year, two-way contract on Friday. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Henry did not appear in the NHL last season, but over 68 games with Hamilton, Montreal's AHL affiliate, he had 13 assists and a plus-17 rating and ranked second on the team with 154 penalty minutes.

Over four seasons in the NHL, which has included stints with Edmonton, Washington, Minnesota and Montreal, he has played in 177 games and has two goals and nine assists along with 269 penalty minutes.
