Canucks re-up D Rome with two-year pact

Per club policy, financial terms of the contract were not released.

Rome, 26, skated in 49 games with Vancouver last season and registered four assists alongside 24 penalty minutes while posting a minus-two rating.

Originally a fourth-round draft pick by the Kings in 2002, Rome has played parts of four seasons with Anaheim, Columbus and Vancouver and has accumulated one goal, six assists and a minus-six rating over 75 games.

Terrell Owens could return for Cowboys next game
